Arthur Pink

Calvinist, J.I. Packer, writes: “When we say God is sovereign in the exercise of his love, we mean that he loves whom he chooses. God does not love everybody.” (The Sovereignty of God, 3rd Edition, p.17)

But coincidentally, God loves Arthur Pink. Among other things, this is what troubles me about Calvinism because God tells us (actually commands) that we love our neighbor, in order to be more like God (Matthew 5:43-48), but God Himself does not love [allegedly] those whom He commands that we are to love, and moreover, God commands that all men love Him, even though He [allegedly] does not love them, and has unconditionally reprobated them. Calvinism seems to be a very troubled theology.
