4 Lies of the Devil

4 Lies of the Devil

The Devil contradicted God, but the truth is that Adam and Eve did die on that day, in a spiritual death, which involved separation from God. However, Jesus restores that life through “eternal life,” which He freely offers to whosoever will. Moreover, God is not unkind, but rather, God knows what is best for His children, and wants only the best for us. Also, God is loving, and mankind can indeed become pure before his Maker, since “the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1st John 1:7) Finally, God is infinitely fair-minded, since “God is not one to show partiality.” (Acts 10:34) The Devil is getting what he deserves. God is truthful, kind, loving and fair.

If the Devil cannot lie to you, then he will mock you, and if he cannot lie to you and cannot mock you, then he will try to kill you, and if he cannot do any of the above, then he is stuck with you and he will dread you. Jesus states: “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.” (Luke 10:19)

3) Lie: God is Unloving.

Satan to Eliphaz: “CAN mankind be just before God?” (Job 6:17)
4) Lie: God is Unfair.

Satan to Eliphaz: “Against His ANGELS He charges error.” (Job 6:18)
